Traffic Impacts from Utility, Stormwater Projects

πŸ”Š Listen Β· narrated by Aiden

The City of Yakima will implement overnight traffic closures near Nob Hill Boulevard and Fair Avenue from June 29 to July 1, 9 pm to 6 am each night, for utility line work. Single-lane closures will affect the intersection area.

A separate stormwater project will close part of southbound Naches Avenue from Lincoln Avenue to MLK, Jr. Boulevard and the southernmost westbound lane of Lincoln Avenue between 4th and 5th Streets through mid-July. Both projects will use flashing red traffic signals during work hours.

The Franklin Pool will reopen June 19 after repairs, operating Monday-Friday 12:30-4:30 pm with $4-5 entry fees. The city also extended a South 32nd Avenue closure until June 16 for water line work, with daily 7 am-3:30 pm closures between Tieton Drive and Webster Avenue.
