Sunnyside PUD, River Buffer Grading Proposals Open for Comment

πŸ”Š Listen Β· narrated by Aiden

The Sunnyside City Council is reviewing a proposed 62-lot residential development on East Lincoln Avenue, with 54 single-family homes and eight townhomes on 9. 48 acres.

Yakima County is also seeking public input on a request to remove 2,470 cubic yards of graded fill from a 100-foot river buffer along the Yakima River in Sunnyside. The material would be relocated within the same property outside the buffer zone.

Comments for both projects are due by July 22 for the Sunnyside PUD and July 30 for the river grading project.
