Stormwater, Roadwork Closures Begin in Yakima

City crews will begin stormwater and roadwork projects on South 7th Avenue and Chestnut Avenue starting Sept. 15, with closures lasting through Sept. 25. Work includes curb replacement, paving, and stormwater system repairs.

The South 7th Avenue project will impact traffic on portions of 7th Avenue and West Peach Street. Chestnut Avenue will be closed from 19th to 22nd Avenue through Sept. 4. Access to properties will remain open where possible.
