Road Work to Close Streets in Yakima

Yakima City Public Works announced several road projects with traffic impacts starting September 15. A stormwater project will close South 7th Avenue and West Peach Street for paving and curb replacement through September 25. Chestnut Avenue will remain closed from 19th to 22nd Avenue through September 4 for repairs. 32nd Avenue will have partial closures on both sides of Nob Hill Boulevard from September 10-12 and September 15-17.

The city said access to properties will remain available during all projects. Residents should expect delays on these routes. Work on the projects is scheduled to finish by September 25.
