The Yakima City Department of Public Works will close the Nob Hill Boulevard and Fair Avenue intersection from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly August 3-7 for new traffic signal installation.
Detour routes will be available during overnight closures. The intersection will remain open during daytime hours. The project is part of city efforts to improve traffic flow at the busy intersection.
Work on Fruitvale Boulevard between 24th and 34th Avenues will begin August 3 and continue until August 13 with intermittent lane closures from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. The sidewalk project on 88th Avenue between Tieton Drive and Summitview Avenue remains closed to through traffic until late August.
