Yakima City crews will close Nob Hill Boulevard and Fair Avenue intersection from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly August 3–7 for traffic signal installation. Detours will be available, but daytime traffic will flow normally. The project aims to improve safety at the intersection.
Fruitvale Boulevard between 24th and 34th avenues will have lane restrictions daily from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. August 3–13 for paving work. Washington Avenue between 36th and 24th avenues will have one-lane traffic from July 21–24 during water line repairs. Meanwhile, 88th Avenue between Tieton Drive and Summitview Avenue remains closed to through traffic for sidewalk improvements through late August.
Franklin Pool will add Saturday hours August 1, 8, 15, and 22 from 12:30–4:30 p.m., joining its regular Monday–Friday schedule after mid-June repairs fixed pool leaks.
